The AVA S110 Series is our Smart 110Nm electric actuator range. Offering 110Nm torque output, this quarter turn electric actuator, with its IP67 PC+PET plastic housing, this compact industrial electric actuator offers standard features including mechanical manual override, end of travel limit switches, internal anti-condensation heater and ISO 5211 mounting platform for direct mount to ISO 5211 ball and butterfly valves.

The AVA S110 series also comes as standard with the AVA Smart OLED screen function. This function displays to the user the actuator input/output status and will also show any faults that might be present. The screen comes with touch buttons to access the internal menu system of the actuator. This allows the user to change settings within the actuator such as working angle, speed, and function depending on the function of the actuator. For example, if modulating you can select if you want to control by 4-20mA or 0-10V. The actuator also has local control for manual operation when power is applied.

The actuator has F07/10 x 17mm mounting as standard.  

Product options

Available with Hi Speed option to allow quick working time. This will reduce the torque output but offers as fast as 1 second working time 0-90 degrees. Note 1 second verison only possible in 20Nm actuator series. For series 50-80-110 then Hi Speed option delivers open to close in around 5-6 seconds in either 24VAC/DC or 95-265VAC. Note that for 1 second run time, this is only available in 24VDC. 

This actuator is available with a number of BUS communication options, including Modbus RS485 and CANBus. 

This unique feature allows the OLED screen and menu system to be used to configure a 7-day timer schedule for the actuator to operate. The user can set how often the actuator open and closes and for how long. 

LED status light to show the actuator status, Green for Open, Red for Closed and Blue for Alarm. 

Failsafe functionality via internal super capacitor. Actuator will charge the capacitor using incoming power supply, actuator will then operate as usual power open and power close. On power loss actuator fail to open or closed position via the capacitor. Please ensure that the actuator receives sufficient charge (recommended initial charge time of around 1 minute). 

Multi Turn function allows our actuator to be used on non rising stem valves including diaphragm valves, gate valves and knife gate valves. The Series 110 has a max number of turns of 20 turns which is programmable via SmartMenu. Available as ON OFF or MODULATING function. Failsafe Multi Turn is not available currently. 

Selectable input via menu system, 4-20ma, 0-20ma, 0-10v, 2-10v, 0-5v options.
