Compact Smart 20Nm Electric Actuator

Failsafe functionality via internal super capacitor. Actuator will charge the capacitor using incoming power supply, actuator will then operate as usual power open and power close. On power loss actuator fail to open or closed position via the capacitor. Please ensure that the actuator receives sufficient charge (recommended initial charge time of around 1 minutes). 

The low voltage AV actuator accepts 24V AC or DC, the high voltage version accepts 95-250V AC. Series 20 actuators are supplied pre-wired with a  0.8m multi-core cable. See Pre Wired cable options in PDF below. Series 20 is also available in 12VDC.

Our Series 20 in 24VDC can open and close in around 1 second. If using 24VAC/DC version or 95-265VAC version, the run time is around 5-6 seconds. 

Using the external push buttons in combination with the OLED screen, users can pre-set on which day and at what times the Series 20 electric actuator opens, and closes. This eliminates the additional cost of installing timers in systems controlling AV actuators.

Opportunities and applications are increasing constantly for wirelessly operated electric actuators as customers see the reduced installation cost as control wiring is eliminated. The standard production AVA Smart wireless actuator, which includes an option of a 1.5km wireless range, enables customers to take full advantage of this fast growing market.

For bus communication systems allowing  computerised control of many actuators over a 2 wire system, the Series 20 Smart actuator is available with either Modbus protocol over RS485, or Canbus 2.

Smart Series with LED status light will show Green for Open, Red for Closed and Blue for alarm as standard. 

Taking full advantage of the magnetic position sensing technology, the AV actuator is driven to a position proportional to an input control signal. Control signals can be 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-5V, 1-5V, 0-10V, 2-10V. AV actuator stays put on loss of external power.
